An Impressive History

Evan M. Foulke, Esq. established Foulke Law Firm on June 3, 1999. The law practice is dedicated solely to the practice of trial litigation adn personal injury. Mr. Foulke opened the office after serving many years as a trial litigator for two of the country's leading law firms in New York City.

This architectural gem is located at 55 Main Street in the historic village of Goshen, New York, the Orange County seat. As the County seat, the village of Goshen is the center of Orange County government which includes the courthouse and other buildings that house government operations. Dating back to the early 1700s, this village is notorious for beautiful historic structures, many of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Another impressive village landmark, The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, celebrates Goshen's still functioning trotter racetrack, the oldest in the United States. Sharing in this rich history, the Foulke Law Firm building served as the stables for the trotters in the early 1800s. More than one hundred years later, this building was painstakingly updated to retain all of its historical integrity. Hardly a block away stands a group of buildings commemorated by a historic marker identifying them as "Lawyer's Row," as a testament to the profession's presence here for almost two centuries.
